AMY PRUITT - Director
Amy grew up in El Dorado, Arkansas and graduated from Columbia International University with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught for two years and then stayed home with her 3 children for 10 years. Amy has been back in the classroom for 18 years. She taught preschool for one year, kindergarten for 9 years, 2nd grade for 1 year, and 1st grade for 7 years. Amy loves to build relationships with her students and enjoys creating a family-like atmosphere in her classroom. She not only loves teaching her students to read and understand math, but she loves to build them up and encourage them to be strong in character.
Amy has been married to her husband for 31 years. They moved to Austin from North Carolina 25 years ago, when her husband Bobby accepted the job of youth pastor at Hill Country Bible Church of Austin. Since then, they have raised their 3 children, gained two daughter in laws and most importantly became “Grammy and Papa”. Amy and Bobby live in Hutto, where Bobby serves as the lead pastor at Hutto Bible Church.
Lindsey kozak - director
Lindsey grew up in Georgetown, and graduated from Texas A&M in 2008 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She spent many hours in a variety of classrooms, where she fell in love with teaching the youngest learners. Lindsey was a second grade teacher for 3 years, and a first grade teacher for 6 years. When her daughter was young, she ran an in-home childcare center. She believes in building the foundational skills in reading as well as math, and her classroom has always been a fun place. Lindsey and her husband Aaron have two children, ages 6 and 10. They enjoy any activity outside, and love exploring the local parks and trails.
Lindsey is passionate about teaching young children, and she loves watching them blossom into independent learners and leaders. She wants children to begin school knowing that they are loved by God, and with a belief that they can do big things.
