Where Are you located?

Solid Foundation Preschool is located at CityView Bible Church in Round Rock. Our physical address is 2441 CR 112 Round Rock, TX 78665.

How old does my child need to be to attend?

We have classes starting at 18 months and we go all the way through Kindergarten.

What kind of childcare center is Solid Foundation Preschool?

We are a traditional preschool. We are open August-May, and our main school hours are 9:00-2:00. We do offer extended care from 7:30-3:30 to accommodate working hours. We have 2, 3, and 5 day programs. Our 2 day is Tuesday/Thursday, our 3 day is Monday/Wednesday/Friday, and our 5 day is Monday-Friday. You are not able to choose which days of the week you attend, you have to attend the days of your set program.

Are you open in the summmer?

We have camps for part of the summer. These camps are open to students that are currently enrolled.

What curriculum do you follow?

Being former teachers, we know that there isn’t a one size fits all approach to any curriculum. We pull from a variety of curriculums to create the best program for our students. In our younger classes we use ABC Jesus Loves Me and Tots School. In our 4s class and our Kindergarten we use Tara West, The Complete Bible Curriculum, and Learning without Tears. Our talented teachers are always adapting and finding new resources to meet the needs of all their students.

Do you have special events?

We have a lot of fun throughout the year! We have a fall and spring family event. We also have events like a Christmas program, Easter egg hunt, and other fun activities.

How do i know what’s going on in my child’s classroom?

We have a great app called Hi Mama. We share our classroom focus, important info about your child, and pictures of all the fun things they are learning! We also use this as our school’s main line of communication.

Why do I pay full tuition in august even though school starts mid-august?

Your tuition is based on an annual amount. We simply break down the tuition into 10 installments.  Tuition is due by the 1st of each month, August through May.

Do you accept credit card payments?

Yes we do. If you would like to pay by credit card, let us know and we will add the 3% fee to your invoice.

How Else Can I pay?

You can pay the Quickbooks invoice directly with your ACH info, cash, or check.

Do I send a lunch for my child?

We do not have food service, so you will need to send a lunch and water bottle with your child each day.  

Do children nap daily?

Children will nap daily.  Nap time varies in each class. Each class will have their schedule posted. If your child has outgrown the need for a daily nap, he or she will be required to rest quietly on their mat while the rest of the children sleep. They will be offered quiet activities after a reasonable amount of time.

Do we have to pay for the weeks that we go on vacation, or if my child is absent for another reason?

Payment is due in full each month of service regardless of absences, vacations, or school closings.
